About the Audubon, West Norriton, Collegeville and Upper Merion, Pennsylvania Areas

In the early 1700's the villages of Lower Providence were established - Evansburg, Shannonville (later to become Audubon), Eagleville and Providence Square.  Audubon was originally named Shannonville in 1823 when a post office was built there.  Current day Audubon was christened in 1899 in honor of the renowned artist, author and naturalist John James Audubon who resided in the area at Mill Grove from 1803 to 1806. In 1800, lead mines were opened and later copper was discovered and mined, although the venture was eventually abandoned.  This area also played a significant role in the Revolutionary War as the Valley Forge winter encampment for the Continental Army from 1777 to 1778.  Today, Lower Providence boasts many historic sites such as the Valley Forge National Historical Park, as well as the scenic Schuylkill River Trail and Perkiomen Trail which are popular with outdoor enthusiasts.

Real Estate Tips
Curb Appeal >A Beautiful Yard

Many people wait until they are about to sell their home before they put energy and attention into improving the landscaping. Then in a desperate attempt to create instant curb appeal, they call in a professional landscaper and spend a lot of money making the yard beautiful for the next owners to enjoy.

Why wait until you are ready to move to enhance your surroundings? Even if you don't want to take on a major project, you can plant a few bushes and bulbs each year. You can get plants that bloom at different times of the year, many of which don't need a tremendous amount of care. There are several benefits to this approach. You will be able to enjoy your improvements yourself, and you will profit more from your sale if you haven't invested a lot of money in your yard right before the transaction. Well-landscaped lawns tend to increase the real estate values in the whole neighborhood, and can result in a more rapid increase in the equity you have in your home!

My goal as a Number 1 Realtor is to establish an enduring relationship with all my customers while assisting them to meet their real estate needs. Since the majority of my business results from either past clients, or referrals from buyers or sellers, it is of the utmost importance to me to have a high reputation of honesty, integrity and expertise between myself and all those with which I conduct business. Couple this with the many years of experience I have in the industry, as well as the business and marketing tools I implement to assist my buyers and sellers, and you will find that real estate transactions can actually be an enjoyable experience! I am a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia Area and personally know how much this city and surrounding suburbs has to offer. I have raised my own family here and am conversant in all aspects of the vicinity, from shopping and the best driving route to work, to great restaurants and historical sites. My first hand knowledge of the area will be invaluable in assisting you with your real estate transactions.
